Straight Women Don’t Have As Many Orgasms, Time to Bring the Noise

Fellas, no matter how much she screams and hollers, understand that your woman might be faking it. At least that’s what the numbers show. Research found in the Archives of Sexual Behavior 52,600 people, aged 18 to 65, in the U.S. were studied to understand why some people have more orgasms than others.

What it learned is that only 65 percent of heterosexual women usually have an orgasm. However, it did find that 66 percent of bisexual women and 86 percent of lesbian women usually had an orgasm. Does this mean that if other women orgasmed more than straight women, are the guys coming up short or are women not articulating what they want?

For starters, vaginal intercourse alone won’t cut it these days because few women have an orgasm this way. That’s the reality. Here’s the lesson. The study reported that women were more likely to orgasm if, in addition to vaginal intercourse, there was 1) deep kissing, 2) manual genital stimulation, and/or 3) oral sex.

While the “golden trio,” as it’s referenced, were major in helping heterosexual women have orgasms, the behaviors linked to more orgasms included the following: receiving more oral sex, having longer duration of last sex, being more satisfied with their relationship, asking for what they want in bed, praising their partner for something they did in bed, calling/emailing to tease about doing something sexual, wearing sexy lingerie, trying new sexual positions, doing anal stimulation, acting out fantasies, incorporating sexy talk, and expressing love during sex.

Did you know? Having an orgasm is nature’s sleeping aid. It’s true. Studies have shown that women who masturbated on a regular basis had less problems falling to sleep because orgasms release the endorphins dopamine and oxytocin, which can improve mood and create a natural high. Masturbating releases stress and assists people with relaxing. Tonight how about having that glass of wine and being good to yourself.
